Re: Great Deal on Sonar/GPS Combo
I have the EchoMap54DV. I'm always losing depth reading at full throttle. If you don't mind and have time, please post a photo of your transducer mounted. Thank you.

Re: Motor won't stay up
Update: Went to Parkway Marine. Fred said they don't replace seals. I have two choices. Replace the entire lift unit for $2700.00 or try replacing the check valve. Replacing the entire lift unit is out of the question. I'd use that money towards a new motor if I chose. I'm gonna try bleeding it agai...

Motor won't stay up
I have a 2004 Yamaha 90 2-stroke outboard. Last year sometime, while the boat was on the trailer in my yard, I raised the motor. After an hour or two, I noticed the motor was down. I bled the motor. It seemed to take longer, but after awhile the motor would still come down. Yesterday, while raising ...

Re: Bass Pro Shops
Looks like you already got your answer, but I'll chime in anyway. You must be at least 21 and a resident of Florida to by a handgun in Florida. You must be at least 18 (no FL residency requirement) to purchase a long gun in Florida. Plus, you must not have any disqualifiers in a criminal history bac...

Re: How to post photos... Video tutorial!
Gentlemen: I learned the hard way size matters. Most cameras today take pictures in very large file format. In Photobucket resize your photos downto at least 400 X 300. That worked for good for me.

Re: Depth reading flashing/blinking
A few details were missing in the video about posting a picture. Like resizing the photo so it's not too big. Anyway, here's my transducer. You can barely make out the partial strake just to the left of the transducer. http://i1006.photobucket.com/albums/af186/deer30084/3233a678-db89-4730-8efb-42484...

Re: Depth reading flashing/blinking
it I moved the location about 3" over and now it works fine. I'll still lock up when super shallow on occasion but not as frequently and it usually clears up as soon as I get back into deeper water. zload: Did you move it about 3" over to the starboard side or towards the center of the hu...

Re: Depth reading flashing/blinking
It's a recent install. My previous Garmin 441s was doing the same thing. It had a shoot through the hull transducer. Figured if I replaced the 441s with the echomap54dv and an external transducer, things would be better. They're not. Same problem. The bracket is not loose. I mounted the transducer m...
