Re: St Marks Channel - 10/4/9

Power boats take quite a pounding. It is a wonder more stuff does not mysteriously come loose or break.

Re: Shrimping the St. Marks???

My plan to head out from the lighthouse at daybreak too. It looks as if it is going to be a creek kind of day with the wind up and all. I am hoping the low tide is not so low that I can't get out once I get in.

Glad you were able to make it a success of sorts. Sorry to hear about the ongoing boat problems. I too am having some minor problems but with perseverance and a little patience they are getting worked out. It is always good to catch a limit. Makes it all seem worthwhile somehow.

You guys crack me up. Jason I am looking forward to our fishing trip. I need to drop the boat trailer off at the fixit shop. If it is ready for the weekend you want to try Saturday or Sunday?

Congrats Casey. I was at the supermarket today and a very nice young lady helped me out with my groceries. She mentioned that she knows you. By the way, really nice Red.

Re: fishing license question

Spend the $32.50 for a one year combination licence. Even if you only use it once the money goes to a good cause, maintaining our resource and our sport. That combo licence will cover you wherever you are in the state and for any gamefish you catch. (keep in mind there are some stamps for snook and ...

Re: boat registration

You might have to "adjust the facts" and tell them it is home made. It is going to be a lot easier to ask about registering a home made boat than one that has no ID #. Your other alternative is to register it in GA, then later transfer the registration to FL. If you decide to go the home m...

If you need a real fishing partner, not one scared of a little water, give me a call. I have forgotten lots of things before going fishing, but my boat was never one of them. hehehehehehe

Re: Headed to Carrabelle......

Hey JT, since I am fairly new to the area I have been told it would be wise to stay out of your holes. As I understand it your hole is from Carrabelle east to the Econfina and out 3 nautical miles. Is it asking too much that you give the rest of us a chance to catch a fish now and again? Does this m...
