Is there any concern in handling them? I'm not interested in eating them but the last 2 I caught were handled with care because i'm not familiar with them.

A stiff north wind and low tide will turn the st marks flats into a grassland.. A south wind will push a ton of water into the rivers and up creeks too.

To start out fish for other stuff and have a rod rigged to toss at a cobia. You may get frustrated otherwise.

The ramps up the wakulla and St Marks river are open and the one at 98 and st marks river is typically the least crowded(for now).
