Mystery baitfish
Ok all I have searched and searched and cannot find this baitfish I commonly cast net just south of the fort at St. Marks. Its a small flat silver baitfish, the best way I can describe it is its like a 1/2 dollar with a very tiny yellow Y tail. It resembles a yellowfin menhaden but its almost perfec...

Re: need input
Chill, adding boat storage to the 2.5 acres might help with the winter slow down etc. I know a few guys north that would love affordable boat storage closer to the water. Add ice, live shrimp, etc and it may work. 319 used to have CJ's(I think it was called) further south but its been closed for qui...

Re: Z-Man UltraShrimp
I looked for them locally last year and never found them, I just ordered them online. They are extremely durable so you dont need to order a bunch of them. I estimate 1 will last at least an entire year of steady trout catching. If you have trouble with the weighted hooks they send with the bait, lo...

Re: lucky SOB, PICS????????
Sweet, but doesnt the ibeams on the rear of that trailer look like a gouge in the bottom of your boat waiting to happen? You would think for that nice a boat and trailer they would put something to protect your boat from the ends of those things. Anyway dont know why I noticed that. Awesome ride!!!!
Re: GPS?
You could opt for the any of the assorted Garmin handhelds also. (Colorado, GPSMAP 76C, etc) Just do some online searching and you can find some deals.

Re: Looking for info on East Choctawhatchee Bay
Got a top spot map of the area, I am wondering what on of the locations on the map is. Does anyone know what the "Drop into the ICW" is? I know its the intercoastal waterway canal they are talking about but is their a lock there or something?

Re: Looking for info on East Choctawhatchee Bay
Thanks Dixie, that may be the best idea yet, especially if there is too much chop on the bay.

Re: Looking for info on East Choctawhatchee Bay
Thanks FlatCrazy, looks like the back of the bay where the many river splits come in would be a good place to find some bars to try also.

Looking for info on East Choctawhatchee Bay
Spending a few days over spring break on the Choctawhatchee bay just north of the 331 bridge. I want to take my 2 boys (13/14) and my 7 year old nephew out to catch a few fish. Can anyone point me at some spots that we could try for some trout/reds/flounder etc. I will be on the water near Mullet Ba...
