Re: Some of my favorite fishing moments.........
Thanks for sharing and lightening the mood. I just purchased my first GoPro yesterday. I can't wait to try it out on the water. Hope to get some good footage of my daughters using their cast nets. Bring the Spring!! Good luck with the GoPro, putting mine in the boat turns it into the Bermuda...

Great pics, it reminds me I don't take enough. I'm itching for the spring though, had to catch a few catfish today to hold me till then.

One of the few benefits of Wilcox co, they don't bother to tax boats etc.

Re: St Mark's 12-1 A strange way to end the year
Went out Sunday with a couple of students who are super-fishermen. Clear water and dolphin on the flats, but just a lizardfish and one trout to be found out there. Moved around a bunch, finally found an oyster bar with some current ripping through it. Final score, 1 keeper redfish, 1 bluefish, asso...

Re: St Mark's 12-1 A strange way to end the year
Yeah I always get them confused, weather was weird that day. Grey mare was cold, water temp was 64, elsewhere was 68ish. Wind was much higher and seas much higher, yet around black rock it was calm and warm. Rain was more of a nusisance than anything, it was only raining near the lighthouse and it w...

St Mark's 12-1 A strange way to end the year
Decided to play hooky from work Friday to squeeze in one last trip for the year, put in at the lighthouse mid morning. Fished the long bar and the flats around the lighthouse with nothing to show for it. https://preview.ibb.co/iZqTjb/IMG_20171201_112918401.jpg But it was a beautiful day regardless h...

Re: 24 Volt Trolling Motor Batteries Question
I only replace them as they go bad and I find optima batteries highly overrated. I mostly use interstate as well since the local dealer sells interstate batteries cheaper than the part stores sell the basic level batteries. My second choice would be exide since MSI sells the deep cycle ones for $75.

Re: Interesting story from cbs news on climate change
As someone who does a decent amount of modeling, this chart is quite telling, the predictions don't come close to matching the observations, the observations aren't even significant enough to outweigh the model error. Relying on record temperatures being set is fairly pointless since its a single po...

Re: Engine Overheating due to Sea Grass
I take it back I have had it happen to me while running a seahag rental boat, but not my seapro until then, the 90 horse johnson on my seapro has some serious water pressure. Maybe the jinx is actually broken now as my last 3 trips have all had issues.
