When I first started doing this a few months ago I thought I would need to have a railing installed. Now that I've been out there 4 times, a railing would just get in my way. You don't really lean over when you gig and if I fall out it's only a 2 foot drop. Now if this was a guide boat with paying c...

Charlie Logue can put you on some fish and show you a good time while doing it.

Is he still enjoying his new boat? I was partial to the Shamrock.

This is my old setup. It worked fine but I wanted to eliminate the need for the work lights above the water so I reconfigured the pvc design and now have 4 underwater lights that are 1 1/2 foot apart of each other. I get 6 feet of solid light in front of the boat and then about 3 feet of light off t...

The glass shop in Attapulgas is probably R&R marine. The owner and his dad used to own and build the Storm line of boats. They should know what they're doing. However, if this is a new boat, I don't know that I would accept hull repairs on a brand new boat. Call Rick at R&R in Attapulgas and...

Shell Point stabbing 08/25-26

Got on the water around 7pm friday looking for a red to put in the box. Instead i got broken off and missed a couple other blowups. Then I received a call to let me know my partner of the night had some family issues come up. Ran to the area I wanted to start gigging at and waited for darkness to fa...

Did you catch that red while it was tailing? Based on the spot I believe your photo was taken, there have been a bunch of reds and sheephead tailing on that bar with the outgoing tide. They usually start tailing with about a foot of water left on the bar and everything I pitch at them just spooks th...

Is this at the bull headley or hwy 12 landing?

I was just wondering how the water level was for the upcoming duck season.

I'll be out there looking around next week and wanted to make sure I didn't run out of water at places that usually have water.

I guess you have already called Paul Dixon in Bainbridge?

I'll keep an eye out for one. Usually 2 or 3 will start showing up with 4 sale signed on them for around $4500.

Sir Reel, I have read this lengthy post and I still can't figure out what you're talking about. Please share with me (us) what you percieve to be the problem and please use "quotes" from other posts to substantiate your concern. WTF? http://www.bigbendfishing.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=15019

As far as anchoring in a channel...... I was told by FWC to re-anchor my boat in the St Marks river as the tide has shifted and my boat was between 2 red markers. My buddy was fishing with his wife in Apalachee bay near an oyster bar. The Coast Guard cutter was coming out of Carrabelle and sent a wa...

Watcha trying to catch.

Most of my bait catching is around oyster bars. I throw a $30 6' net and catch all the 8" mullet and 4" mud minnows I want.

We were up in oyster bay saturday and the reds started tailing on the outgoing tide. We had 6 reds flagging us at the same time in a 100ft radius. Also had some large sheepshead doing the same thing.
