Re: Fishing Line
For all the braid users out there, how long do you keep your braid on your spool? Do you ever experience what I would consider a dry rot where your braid pops behind your leader? I felt like i had several break offs yesterday that didn't feel like cut offs from toothy critters. I've also heard of us...

Re: NFGFC April 6th roll call
I'll be there and I believe the wife will be fishing with as well. I believe the rest of the crew is fishing as well, the question is which boats and who's on which boat.

With the potential of a 10 ft tidal surge on the way, we may be able to find them on hwy 98GaryDroze wrote:Luvly. I've got 6 beater kayaks hidden from East River to Econfina, anchored down in the marsh adjacent to tidal creeks. I'll be happy if I have 3 left on Friday.

Re: NFGFC members
ok, here's my 2 cents... I personally think that the meetings are fun and essential to the club, but we have to figure out why people aren't coming any more. So here are the reasons that I think people aren't coming any more. 1. Same raffle prizes that people have already 2. Lack of guest speaker 3....

Water clarity around Keaton
Just wondering how the water clarity is around the Keaton area. Was thinking about taking Friday off to take my daughter down to scallop. If its as dark as it was this past Saturday in St. Marks, then its not worth going.

Re: NFGFC July Rock Landing 2018 Tournament Roll Call!!!!
Thanks for the reply, just wanted to clarify since we both fish from separate kayaks and the rules say you must fish from the same boat. Also is the weigh in being done at Rock Landing? Each kayak would be considered their own vessel or boat, which would mean that each of you would register as indi...

Re: Scalloping Keaton beach 6/23/18
Yes It moves much faster for the people that cut in line! Wow that's disappointing. So the people that come to the ramp tenth in line but drop someone around the corner is in the right? Am I understanding you both correctly? Another example would be, you drive in the 75 ramp lane until you can beat...
