Cobia tagging kit....
Does anyone know where I can get the Cobia tagging kit...would really try to do something like that this summer to help out in the research area.....Looking foward to a pretty good Cobia run according to some of my friends down south...Thanks!

St marks..a little less rocky...far less than Econfina...a great tip..east of the lighthouse be careful...rock garden and areas around stoney bayou can be a little Dicey..Ask around, the folks on this site can help you with the worst areas...Good Luck in your exploring!

Penn Reels...the innovation has stopped..This happened some years ago..No advancements in technology..improvements, nothing...Little to no research or development has happened..The older conventional offshore reels are legendary to say the least...SAVE YOUR MONEY...Buy SHIMANO be happy.... Redarding Swivels...I don't use them unless trolling spoons...I go wire to line with an albright knot..Mackerel will sometimes attack even the smallest of swivels....Sometimes even a larger knot.. I have been cut off at the swivel point enough times to change tactics... For schools of attacking toot...

4ooo stradic very good for large reds and cobia...i Use power 4/15 on my 4000 10/2 on the 2500....I no longer use the CT..I use the bayside extreme popper with a titanium wire...less bends....a good tip...tie a short piece of mono on the top portion if you use braid... alot less fowling.. About a 2'...
