Just don't follow someone who is also on their first trip out and using the wing/prayer/trim method of rock avoidance.
I went there in my Kayak a number of winters ago on a low tide and made a mental note to NEVER bring my pretty flats boat there.......ever.

Anybody have a Lanark to Dog Island water clarity report?
Thinking about a Lanark inshore trip this weekend. Is the water on the backside of Dog and SGI getting any clearer.......or still strong tea?
I like drinking tea but fishing in gin.

Based on racing and wrenching dirtbikes for years........Air leak. A 2-stroke will rev high with not throttle if there is an air leak on the cylinder side of the carb or within the carb itself. When you open the throttle there is now too much air to run. Check your work......it's probably something ...

The bay water behind Dog and SGI are as stained as I have ever seen. While the fish don't seem to mind I really miss fishing the clear water flats and the sight fishing aspect of that area. We did well on Dog Island Reef even when you could not see the grass bottom in 24"of water. Those 4 pound...

I used to run in the 60's.
Now I'm old and run in the 6 mpg's.
But.....there are still times that I would like to drop the hammer and pass every other boat in the river.
Nice ride......but I'm not really feeling the metalflake. lol

The NFGFC JULY 7, 2012 Tournament will be held out of C-Quarters in Carrabelle.
Tournament??? What tournament? If I had known that I would have tied them to a stake for safe keeping.
