Advice on bottom machine
Hey guys, wanted to tap into the collective wisdom of you fine gentleman (and others) :-D . The transducer on my Raytheon L265 fish finder broke. I can replace it for about $85. This unit is about 10 years old so I'm seriously questioning the wisdom of replacing the transducer or scrapping the unit ...

Re: Cooking Trout
I like to give them a light coating of Blackened Redfish Magic (not too much) and saute them in olive oil. Even my wife loves them this way and she is not much of a fish eater.
Re: Hogfish?
I've been told they eat mostly lobsters and other crustaceans

Re: Econfina 6/3/12
Life just doesn't get any better than that. I grew up fishing in farm ponds with my Grandaddy. I could sense his mild frustration at my insistance on calling them "orange bellies" when he knew full well the proper term was "red bellies" (hey, they WERE orange). I lost my Grandadd...

Re: Who's Porter
Hit a nice one last year and ripped off half the skeg, bent the prop shaft and well, I prolly don't need to tell ya what the prop looked like. Thanks to BBF I knew of Mr. Porter and of his fine reputation, as well as that of his custom made rock guards. Mr. Porter fixed me up sure as shootin' in fin...

.380 ammo 4 sale or trade
I have a 200 rounds or so of .380 ammo I have no need for (don't have a .380). It is lower-grade target type ammo. Would be happy to trade it or sell it. Could use a med action spinning rod or...make an offer.

You know things are bad when a company drops that kind of investment in a building and closes barely a year later...
