Re: Kayak access at Lanark

Yep I'll be sure to do that Silver... Too old to fight, too slow to paddle, so I guess I'd just have to shoot them... Hopefully I can wave as a Nantucket sleigh ride takes me out to sea!!! LOL

Thanks, will keep my eye out for it? Quick ?, is the east end generally better or other reason that it is mentioned?

Re: St.Marks/Wakulla redfish charter

Fairly new here. Back in the day how many red fish were allowed and size limits?

Re: Tips for targeting flounder

Re: St Marks NWR - 02 Apr 2017

I have used TyGer stainless 15 lbs when fishing where pike are present. Knots pretty well. As I recall it was about $11 for 10 or 12 feet. Didn't have too many issues with the cast as I recall. 50 lbs bite tippet for sure is an option as long as what you're targeting is not leader shy.

Hate getting cut off. Blues? May go to wire bite tippet. Its a little spendy, but beats losing fish and fly's.

Re: Bitten off

Thanks for the suggestions. Will beef up my tippet next time. What size do blues/spanish run in the Big Bend?
