Re: Gyrene vs Goliath
Our friend caught this one in 100 ft. a couple years ago on a four O senator. We all told him to get in the water for some pictures. He recently finished his new home and told me the pictures are one of his favorite things in it.
This fish was also released unharmed.- July 17th, 2018, 11:39 am

Re: Tariffs Threaten Boating Industry
The TRUMP TRAIN is made of steel not aluminum so I don't think he's to worried about it. The top on the blue crabbers boat that I always see in the morning has a PVC structure that holds it up. I bet it will become more stylish now.

Re: 05/23/18 - Chasing Cobes Between Storms
Nice fish glad y'all were able to get in a quick trip. We spend a lot of time out of Econfina and hardly ever run up on any Cobia. We were out Friday and the bite was as good as I've ever seen it. It's a shame we could only keep two apiece. ] Clayton and Grouper.JPG I have no idea why the pic turned...

Re: Favorite Rods and Reels At Various Price Points?
Old school chrome spool 4/0 senator is still the go to bottom fishing reel. 7 ft. heavy star rod with the stainless guides. I dont go without my Trevalla spinning rod med. heavy with a bait runner either. All have worked very well.

I have three 4000 spinfishers and they are nice but I wouldn't put them at the top of the list.

Re: HELP WITH GPS NUMBERS
Everything I've looked at so far is way outside of my skill level. Google earth pro looks real good but also appears to be very complicated.
