snook at st marks

Post by dragonfly »

Couple of days ago we caught a 31 inch snook at east river at St Marks. We are wondering just how common snook is and if anyone else is catching them. We had a couple of other strikes that could have been snook at the same location. Is this common or do we have a rare catch?

There's been several folks have caught good size ones in the St Marks area over the last few years, that's probably the biggest I've heard of though.

Becoming more common with the milder winters we've had recently and expanding range. That's a quality snook anywhere, though.

3 snook in the area. You are definitely getting it done man, and 31” is a solid fish. I’m dying to catch one up here
