Yesterday evening I was coming back the to Lighthouse ramp and watching the sunset as the moon rose. I was loading the boat with the lowest tide I've seen in a while. I don't know how that will affect the fishing, but the tides will be extreme.

Today was one of my best days fishing in a long time: netted 4 good sized Mullet, caught 8 keeper Sea Trout plus a few Catfish, a big Stingray and a Smooth Puffer. The rising tide during late morning was really moving. I'm not a good fisherman so someone with real skills might have cleaned up.

We were fishing from my baby Whaler on east flats not far from the spoil area. Ran out just past the stakeline for a while and got nothing.
