Spring Creek info?

Post by pcbayou »

Hi, y'all. The first mate and I are planning a trip to Spring Creek in July. Any tips on where to go in kayaks and/or find fish?

I’d venture into oyster bay in or around gull island or even towards skipper bay. Plenty of structure and fish to be had.

You can also hop on some of the islands and fish from the hill.

Good luck

It's been a while but I've had good luck to the west of Smith Island (which is also a cool landing spot). If you launch from Spring Creek there is a back passage "short cut" you might enjoy. Good luck!

Thanks much. We didn’t get much beyond the Spring Creek landing and had no luck. Thunderstorms didn’t help. We did get some good tips, though, including yours, for next tine.
