Water condition

Post by SouthernPointe »

Looking to be on the big pond this Thursday for the first time since the spring. Looks like a high tide right before day break and a south wind.

Any reports of water condition between St. Marks and the Aucilla River? Grassy? Clarity? Temp?

Thanks in advance.

I fished North (a little past Cobb Rocks) of Aucilla on Nov. 2. Water was still stained but more clear than it was 2 weeks prior. I did not have any problems with floating grass. Surface temp was 65-67.

The water clarity was so-so near the St. Marks lighthouse yesterday three small trout was it for me but the birds seemed happy!
