Live shrimp

Post by onefishtwofish »

Gonna take mine and friend of mine's dads next week and don't think they are up for a day of casting. I was thinking I would use live shrimp for them. Does JR's usually have them this time of year? Would be easier than running down to Shields, but just curious. Can't say I have ever used live shrimp much and definitely not this time of year. Just wondered who around would have them. I am driving from Mashes Sands to Aucilla, so will pass Crums as well.

Thanks in advance.

What about Rocky's? They typically have live shrimp.

Call Jrs and ask if they have shrimp. If not, Crums and Rocky’s will probably have some as long as they can get out. . You might get a bonus sheepshead. Good luck

JR's has had them every time I've been the past two months. In the past, they've been out when there is a big crown at the Aucilla. Especially if you get there late in the day. I'd stop somewhere en route or call ahead. The can usually tell you what day the shrimp truck is bringing in a new load.
