If we didn't have the NFRS tourney that weekend I'd be in. Anything out of Panacea is always a blast. Glad to see a two-day back on the books!

Good cause, with some of the proceeds going to the Gage Pittman Memorial Scholarship Fund. Hope to see some members out there.

Rockin Reds Fish Tournament!

Was a great time at the tournament. Tough conditions but team “Fysh Hunter” managed to weigh in redfish on both days. Today we came in last minute and had to park the boat on the hill and run in with our redfish.

Over 50 redfish boats entered, only 12 weighed in on Day one and only six weighed in on day two.

Talk around town is Rock The Dock may be going down in November.

Red beard alot of teams didnt go to weigh in because a bunch of em were catching alot of 5 to 6 pound reds knowing that's not gonna win for big red.

I don’t know why someone catching 5-6 range wouldn’t weigh in when there was a two day aggregate, so not sure what your implying.

And why would only 12 boats weigh in on day one?

The weight that won was six pounds and some change. So I don’t know why someone catching 5-6 range wouldn’t weigh in. And there was a two day aggregate, so not sure what your implying.

The largest Redfish weighed in was 7.71 pounds and it was weighed in on Saturday. The Tournament Redfish Division did not have a two day aggregate, it was biggest fish weighed in. You may be getting the "2 Day Aggregate Sidepot/Calcutta" confused with the Tournament Redfish Division. 32 boats entered the 2 Day Aggregate Sidepot/Calcutta for Redfish, however only 12 of those boats weighed in a redfish on day one. On day two, only 6 boats (of those 12 boats from day 1) weighed in a Redfish. The rules for the 2 Day Aggregate Sidepot/Calcutta required that a Redfish be weighed in each day.

As the weights were posted last night, and the largest Redfish weighed in yesterday was 7.71, it's totally understandable as to why folks catching Redfish in the 5-6 lb. range, (who were in the Tournament Redfish Division or were in the 2 Day Aggregate Sidepot/Calcutta but didn't weigh a fish in on Saturday) didn't bring a fish to be weighed in today.

Overall the tournament was a great success with lots of $$$ being paid out.
