You don't have to change locations.....you have to change the time you fish. Be in your Kayak when it's still basically dark. Have a spot picked out that usually holds fish. Paddle to that spot asap. The bite (if it happens) will be on until the sun hits the water. Have a plan and hit your best spots in rapid-fire order. You are literally racing the sun. You should be back and be loading up by 11:00 AM

It's a lot of trouble for an hour of good fishing......but it's that time of year.

I don't fly fish anymore but a big white popper and a gold spoon fly caught a lot of Redfish for me.
