Stripers

Post by eightwt »

Anybody have any advice for locating stripers at Lake Tarquin or below Seminole dam? Have fished them in Chesapeake Bay, but just superficially here.

I can't help at either of those locations but I do target stripes and hybrids at the next two dams upstream of Seminole. (Walter F. George and George W. Andrews), and my technique is to fish the currents, eddys and any points near the dam or creek mouths and "match the hatch" for bait. Live shad is by far the best choice but for artificial I throw crank and swimbaits that resemble shad. I'm sure a white or white and chartreuse Clouser minnow would do the trick.
