Prop repair(stainless)

Post by flatsbroke22 »

Have a prop that needs a little work, nicked a rock. Who can I send it too? I have sent one somewhere in Tampa but can’t remember where.

Not as close to Moultrie as Tally but " The Prop Shop" in Dothan does good work. (334) 792-5798

There is a well-known shop in Tampa. Looked in my notes and couldn't find the name, either. You might make a post on the Maverick Boat Owners forum. Pretty sure Shields sends props to Tampa also. Give the service dept. a call and they can steer you in the right direction.

Most of the shops have a regular weekly pickup/drop-off, I believe the link below is the Tampa prop shop that everyone is referencing. I want to say the shop pickup day in the area is Tuesday or Wed but been a while since I needed to send one down so... I'm sure you could call a shop and ask for the pickup day seems like the prop had to be in the shop by the day before pick up. I used Big Bend in Perry personally.

That’s where most places use around here I believe. Mikes marine and big bend marine both use that place. Pickup and drop off were Wednesday
