Locking latches

Post by Juan »

Anyone seen these for sale anywhere? They're on a 162 Scout skiff. I don't have the keys and need to replace all three locking latches but haven't found the right size. They're 2" long x 1-3/4" wide and the bar underneath is 4" long.
Thanks

Have you called Scout to see if they still have a source ?

I may have to call Scout but I hate dealing with dealers so thought if they're still available, I might find them or someone would know where to get some.

There a few out there

Or can you just replace the locking mechanism ?

Thanks Chris... You're better at searching than I am.. my searches didn't show anything close. I believe the one in the 2nd link is the right lock. I already had an account with them and got em on order!
reelbad, the only print I could find on the locks says "LOCK" lol

Replacing SS latches is not an inexpensive project. They were $60 per on my 1820 Action Craft..... times 7.

But......it's a boat. :smt007

So true but when the same latch sells for $36 at one place and $12 at another....it's a no brainer. :(
