Coastmaster Premium Florida

Post by onefishtwofish »

I am getting a Humminbird Helix 9 Chirp GPS. The Florida marine tracks does not work with this unit and due to the expense of upgrading unit and chart, I will stick with this unit for now. I am going with a 12" draft boat like I have had, so my old tracks should be pretty safe (which will hopefully move to new unit). I don't fish a ton of new places, but was curious if anyone has used this chart for mostly nearshore depths. Not thinking it will be remotely close to FMT, but it looks like it should be a decent reference. Talking like running around the point from Ochlocknee Bay to St Marks scalloping or even Aucilla mouth (I know what to do once I am near). Looking for contours off Carabelle inside the islands and such. Maybe on a nice day running out to the Ochlocknee Shoals.
Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?

It's a blend of Florida marine tracks and the multi beam offshore maps, I would much rather have paid for it than navonics.
