Wow what a change in 35 years. We used to go and shark fish there. Chunk the bait out on the outgoing tide and follow it around the edge of the inlet. Rare chunk that you didn't get a pick up on the drift.

Crazy number of sharks. No rocks then and no concrete walk way either.

Funniest trip was when three guys pull up in a rusted out old jeep wagon that they had put wood on the side of trying to make it to look like a California woody. Had their surfboards strapped on top. They started to unload and one got curious. He opened his mouth and it was obvious that he was from WAY north of the Mason-Dixon. Seems they were making their dream trip and had come to surf. When I told him we had already caught and released 7 sharks in 4 hours and that the largest was a 8' bull, he decided that this was not the place to surf! :smt005
