SGI - 5/17/08

Post by Jon Boat »

Went down to SGI and stayed down close to the state park. The wind blew all day on friday so no fishing. Saturday was beautiful but no tasty fish were caught. I used shrimp on pompano rigs just as bman showed last week but all I caught was ladyfish, catfish and blues. Better than nothing i guess.

Some of my most successful days at SGI were during very windy days, dont let that stop Ya. Just use a heavier Pyramid weight(4oz) and keep line tight  Seems the churned water makes em hungrier.
