Dove shoots

Post by Geno67 »

Are the WMA's any good around Talley?

Joe Budd, Blackwater and Blackwater Hudson unit, Box-R, Apalachicola River, Apalachee, and Gothe are near me. I've never hunted in FL so just curious.

I've never heard of anyone having a jam up dove shoot on a North Florida WMA

That is what I was afraid of. Does anyone have/know of hunts/clubs near Tallahassee?

I know the owners of JB Sopchoppy Sauce were in the works of starting bird shoots. Maybe reach out to them on social media and check in on that.

I have hunted Joe Budd and Appalachee. Have had some quality shoots. You just have to scout and only go if the birds are there. If they are, expect company.
Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?
