Dove were flying

Post by SouthernPointe »

Opening day was a success in Gadsden and Jackson Counties. I think the birds loved the weather as much I did. I just wish they fly slower and straighter. Brown top millet unmoved seemed to bring them in and hold them. Image

People ought to know better then to plan weddings, funerals, graduations, births, or anything else during dove season.

Hopefully you can get out there this coming weekend. I keep a scatter gun in all my vehicles this time of year. Never know when that phone will ring.

Wish I could have been on that hunt!

Oh wait.......I was! I recognize Chris's 4 wheeler! LOL

That was an awesome hunt - great lunch, great fellowship. We cleaned the ones not taken home after y'all left. Did not take too long.

I need a dog! My old man would have given out. He is a year older than Ruger.
Ducks, turkeys, flats fishing. Who has time for golf?

It was one I’ll always remember. I have a Brittany that I’ll have to bring next time. She has energy for days and loves thesound of a gun.

Now, if I can only find some shells….
