Snapper

Post by bman »

Went out on Saturday... rough as a cob on the way out but settled into a great day.
Snapper everywhere we stopped. Live bait or cut bait it didn’t matter.

Could not get through the snapper to any grouper of size.
Switched up to a small rig to try and catch some lane or B-liner and caught triggers that had to go back.

My biggest was 20lbs 6oz

Fun day on the water- crazy that we can only keep 2 of these things but two 20lb fish throw off a lot of meat!
Had fish tacos for Father’s Day dinner!

Where were you fishing? How deep? I couldn't find the snapper on Sunday.
