Steinhatchee Trout Bite

Post by rob4auburn »

Anybody with some reports between Keaton and Steinhatchee? I'll be there Mon - Fri hoping to catch some trout mainly. Maybe a red and some Spanish also. Any info would be appreciated. Tight Lines!

I was down during the cold front last week, we never could get on anything consistent, the water was pretty dirty from fisherman's rest to rocky creek. South was definitely better than north.

Last week the Trout bite getting better out of horseshoe caught a lot of shorts, trout showing up in 4-5 ft. water. Spanish starting to show up. Bite will get better as time goes on.
