Panacea 1-30-16

Post by Red Dawg »

We had 16 bags of redfish (most had just one fish per quart bag) so we went to feed the the wife's family in Georgia Saturday. My brother in law got a R&V Works Cajun Fryer 4 gallon 2 basket fryer. Cooked fish, fries, and hush puppies for 15 people in one hour flat! That thing is awesome, gotta get one. Made it home Sunday in time to hit the water around 3:30. Fished the incoming tide with frozen shrimp without a nibble. Caught a few bull minnows for bait and immediately caught a short red. Switched to an Aqua Dream and thought I was going to finally catch something with it. Had something big making a wake straight for it. Tapped it once and turned away. Called it quits shortly after. Evan caught one short, lost a nice keeper at the boat, and released an 18-1/2" Red. Told him he should have kept it, we have to restock the freezer! :D All in all a great weekend regardless.
