Anybody do a Coil Spring conversion of bummed air suspension

Post by RodBow »

My '00 EB Expedition is sagging in the rear and looks like the compressor/air springs are done. Has anyone done the coil conversion on this or something similar? Looking for tips/suggestions. Thanks

I HAVE A FRIEND THAT HAD THE AIR RIDE SWITCH OVER TO COIL SPRING ON HIS LINCOLN, HE SAID THAT IT COST $1,800 TO MAKE THE CHANGE, HE SAID THAT IT MADE THE HANDLING 300 PERCENT BETTER .

It is fairly easy. I have done a few on Rovers and Fords.
Here are some links that might help: https://www.arnottindustries.com/part_F ... id252.html

The Rovers had an electrical patch to turn off the suspension messages. Not sure if the Expedition needs it or if it is available.
