Family friendly Charter

Post by PhishingNole »

I have some family coming into town late June and they want to go fishing.

We'll have 4 adults and 4 kids ages 5-10 and prefer inshore (reds, trout, flounder).

Can anyone recommend a charter that can accommodate that size of a group? Most of the ones I've found online can't accommodate more than 6.

Thanks for your time.

Unless you want to go the head boat route, most charters, especially inshore, will be limited to six passengers due to their Coast Guard license rating (6-Pack).

Best bet is to book a couple boats. Captains Steve Hobbs and Mike McNamara work together and would be able to accommodate your group.

St. Marks Outfitters.

I was not aware of the six person limit, which makes a lot of sense now. We may have to go the two boat route.

Skeeterbite (Capt. Steve Hobbs) on this forum can team up with Capt. Mike from St. Marks Outfitters and make that happen. Both are great guides and a pleasure to fish with. (850) 363-0527
