Adios

Post by silverking »

It been a long, fun run but it's time to head back home. Returning to my salt water roots in the Pensacola area as I shift into 3/4 retirement. Plan to fish more and work less from here on out. Looking forward to exploring some new waters and some I haven't fished in three decades.

I've enjoyed being a member of the Big Bend Fishing.net community. There are a lot of great folks on here and a wealth of knowledge. Appreciate bman making it possible.

I'll check in from time to time to offer a Panhandle report. As soon as I unpack a few thousand moving boxes and get the boat barn all ready, I'll be hitting the flats again chasing some reds, trout and of course, the always challenging silver king.

Tight lines and good luck all!

Capt. Dave

Enjoy the next chapter Dave. Don’t be a stranger.

I know you've been busy preparing for the move and will still have a lot to do when you get there but don't forget to pay the toll as you pass through. :-D

Enjoy your semi retirement sir. Glad you get to go back home for it. Through your fishing reports for the Shield's site led me to your personal site. Read up a little on your exploits. You have led quite a life as far as salt water sportsmen are concerned. You certainly will be missed but our loss is their gain. I have enjoyed riding along on part of this chapter. May the rest of the story be just as fulfilling.
