Water Clarity for St.Marks to Econfina

Post by Jighead »

Planning on going fishing for trout between St Marks and Econfina. Has all that rain clouded the water or is it still fairly clear? Thanks for any info.

I’m assuming your asking about inshore clarity..

Near and around St. Mark’s its clear from what I’ve seen, closer you get to some creeks it’s more murky but the flats still look good.

Edit: forgot to mention I’ve been out past two days.

I would expect it to get less clear as each day of rainwater drains out to the gulf. Maybe it would be stained very long.
