Looking for rod holders

Post by Juan »

I want to add a couple of rod holders near the bow on the bay boat and can't find the style I need.. They're going to be mounted in corners and the single PVC rod holders are a good fit but I don't want the PVC ones. I thought I had seen the same style holders in stainless steel but don't remember where I saw them and can't find them on the web. Anyone know where I can find the stainless steel holders?
Like this but stainless:

I found these, similar but not exact:

https://hotstuff4fishing.com/products/a ... ets-2-pack

https://www.anchorexpress.com/Tigress-S ... jAQAvD_BwE

Search “single surface mount stainless steel rod holder” for more of the same.

Thank you. I had looked at those and because of the mounting bracket style I don't think they will fit into the corners where I want them. I may have to pick another location.

Have you considered flush mounted holders? That’s the way I’ll eventually go.

I initially considered flush mounts David but the way the hull is sloped, they won't fit anywhere except over a rod box or storage compartment and I don't want that. I'd have bet money I had seen the exact style of the PVC holders in stainless steel but maybe I'm wrong. I may have to buy a stainless steel triple rod holder and center it on the storage box but I really want to put them in the corners if possible.

I wonder if you could bend the tabs on this one to fit in the corner?

Thanks but I looked at that option too and I think if I bent the brackets, the angle would make it impossible to get to the mounting holes.

Here is one out of aluminum, may work depending on how you are going to bolt it in.
