Boat ramp Break ins???

Post by Hit-n-Miss »

What is the latest on the Keaton and Ecofina break ins? Is it still going on or has it stopped? Did anyone ever get arrested?

I saw something about broken windows at Mandalay Bay, but I think it was on Facebook. Haven't been able to find to post again.

My last trip to Mandalay I left the window down. Nothing in the truck to steal. I had heard they have been hitting parked trucks so what else to do?

Yes it did happen again, believe it was last Tuesday or Wednesday. Friend of mine’s father was a victim. They hit several that day at Aucilla.

I ate lunch with a friend in Tallahassee yesterday who told me they hit 10 or more trucks at the Aucilla Ramp. He also said Keaton Beach had been hit recently. They broke the windows out of each truck and some firearms are gone.

I hate to see this get started up here. I moved away from Tampa in 1993 due to the crime and drugs in the area.

Surprising it's happening in Keaton too. As open as the parking is to the houses and roads there, doesn't seem like a good spot. Now that overflow parking is a bit different, but still fairly open.

What's really sad is, Tallahassee has the highest violent crime rate in all of Florida. Higher than Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville AND Miami. It's definitely not the Tallahassee I grew up in, and I'm only 50.
