Feb. 1 bass'in

Post by DixieReb »

Me and the old yellow cat went out to the pond this morning for some bass'in. She likes to walk out there with me and climb out on all the overhanging limbs near the edge. I have been fishing with a 7'' black gulp worm and having good luck, so tried it again today. It was chilly and a little windy, but still managed 4 nice bass. I found out you have to fish the lure slow this time of year, kinda like working a jig or mirrolure for trout. They bit good as long as I barely crawled it along bottom. Kept the 3 biggest ones for dinner :lick: It's fun to get a few bites when not much else is going on, bass are a lot of fun. :smt004
