Otter Lake

Decided to give it a shot this morning, got out there around 7 and threw buzzbaits for an hour or so around the edges and cypress trees, zip. Not even a pickerel. Switched to a spinnerbait, started fishing out in the middle and got several hits, hooked up with 2 and landed one nice bass about 2lbs. Nasty looking green algae is slowly taking it over, the cove on the back side of it is almost covered now. Anybody do any good there recently? It's a pretty looking lake but there just doesn't seem to be much activity in there. I'll tell you what is in there, and that is gators. Big ones. Saw one that was probably 11-12' and several more over 8.
