Lake Jackson 1-12-2013

Winter fishing at its finest! Hit Jackson around 7am, temp was 65 and rose to low 70s by 11:30am. Calm, clear skies until 10 then it became overcast and breezy. Didn't get a water temp. Caught 5 bass with the heaviest being 1.2lbs (All texas rigged plum apple zoom worms). My friend, Ryan ended up with 4 fish, the heaviest being 2.2lbs (shimestick baby bass color bait). While we didn't catch any heavyweights it's awesome to be able to launch and fish this lake again!

Heard Porter sink just opened up again.....

Drive down Faulk today and yes the sink hole has opened up again, I turned my stomach to see that, has always been my fav place to fish freshwater. I was hoping it was gonna turn around and start to build back up.

I was out there last week and it was up..Launched at millers and still had to back into the water to launch.
