Piney Z Lake 6/13/13

Dropped the boat in at 4pm to threatening skies. Water temps were 95 with a 8mph wind out of the southwest. We fished the northwest corner of the lake to start out because the water was cooler over there. We immediately found some shell crackers and BG holding near the bottom in 5.5ft of open water. At 6 we came back to pick up a friend from finger 3, and headed to offshore structure to fish. We hit 5 offshore spots and the point on finger 6. We ended up catching about 60 BG/Shellcrackers and about 4 Bass. We kept about 21 good sized bream and a couple foul hooked small bream. Most of the fish were on offshore structure and we caught everything on big reds and florida pinks worms from Rivers. I fished the bottom on a weighted float and another set to 5ft deep and the ladies were fishing about 3-4ft deep. There were lots of boats out at the Z today, we saw at least 3 jons, and a few yaks. Another warm, cloudy day at the Z.
