specks and catfish

Went with 2 nephews to a fav. pond yesterday, fished for specks with minnows and caught about 10. Most were small but had one about 1.5 lbs, looked like a Talquin slab. They brought worms with them and caught 6 nice cats, biggest looked about 2 lbs. Caught 3 bream, too. Nice bucket of fish. Tried for a bass but they just aren't hitting yet. A good day out with family, don't get much better.
