Bass Topwater Blowup

Post by big bend gyrene »

After about 3 days of dawn to dusk outdoor work this past week I ended the weekend by running down to the pond the last hour before sunset. Bass were REALLY smacking topwater offerings.

Video footage is of the most exciting catch of the evening... GOT TO LOVE misssed blowups followed by hits on 2nd casts as builds up so much anticipation. Don't know that the clip does it justice but the initial hit was a doozie!

Nothing better than topwater.

Nice.

Need to get out myself one evening and chunk some frogs on the Flint backwaters.
