HAVE TO AGREE WITH REELMAN, THAT DAWN DISHWASHING DETEERGENT IS GREAT FOR CLEANING JUST ABOUT ANYTHING. I USE IT TO GET AXLE GREASE OFF MY HANDS WHEN PACKING WHEEL BEARINGS, IT WORKS GREAT.

Mike, Help me understand. Do you mix two products , Spair and Dawn 50/50? Is it as good or better than Real Magic?

Thanks for the tip!

Amen Brother! Only been around 71 years going on 72 but being poor is something I know a lot about. I'll still have to tip my hat to you on the wise part. I'm still in schooling and learning something most every day. Doesn't seem to be as hard to learn something every day lately. May be because I forget quicker and relearn a lot of the same things more often. The more I learn the dumber I seem to be.

...........but, ain't life good!

mpa: Thanks! I do have five Shimano reels and have used Reel Magic for about four years now. My brother has Shimano reels so old he has worn them out and had the factory rebuild them. He told me to use Reel Magic, he does. So far I've not seen a problem but I just use a little spray after rinsing off with fresh water and drying.

Have you had a problem?

I may need to be more careful.

Hey...that would be a lot cheaper as well. Neighter do I have twenty bucks to replace rubber handles.

Mike, do you spray the 50/50 mixture on and rense it off or just leave it on to dry?

Thanks!
