Offshore fishing
I've bought a 19' Wellcraft V-hull and now want to get offshore with it. The problem is that I've never fished offshore from the St. Marks area before (went out of Boynton Beach when I lived there). Anyhow, where's a good place to find coordinates besides using the standard charts and using trial and error to find spots that hold fish?

Sundown... that's what I figured I'd be doing. TK...Nope, I didn't know about that thanks! I'll be going out Sunday and checking those coordinates. That link is a lot more comprhensive than what I've found so far. I've been fishing the flats for a while with a friend of mine in his boat and I decided to get an offshore rig so we can cover both inshore and offshore....now I just need to find the fish
.
Yeah, I'm hoping the wind lays down finally. When I took the boat out the first time I was so excited to actually get it in the water that I didn't care what the conditions were like (within reason LOL). I can attest that the V-hull can handle 5-6 waves pretty well. Although my friend Mark had more issues with the waves than the boat did
. If the seas are running high I'll just stay in protected waters and work on my trout fishing.
You'd be out there without me-That much is for sure
