James was fishing a guided party and was out before us he had one keeper on ice at 4:30 and when the tide started out he slayed them 14 fish in 45 min. at that time we were still way west and catching a crazy mixed bag.

All fish were scattered mixed and we lost a dozen boat side they just were not really getting it several fell off in the net it was sort of an odd day. I also had very inexperienced crew and they had a lazy guide. I got a lot of exercise jumping down from the casting platform and netting / gaffing others fish baiting hooks and fixing wind knots.

sounds like a great day to me! Odd day north of your fishin grounds too! Dropped of ten to twelve keepers at the boat , the bite was funny all day long. Was it bad stained down there? Ran to fenfrom icky during the day to cool off and water was a nice cappucino color.

We never got to the coffee color, it was pretty stirred up from the wind but there were some very pretty clear places. It was not a bad day they just never have dropped the hammer like the last few years. I keep going thinking this will be they day I will find them stacked hungry the wind will lay down and go to town on them but this has been a flakier year for me. I think its is all the extra cold we have had. Maybe I am just a better fisherman in my fantasy memories.
