Got in another late afternoon trip - hit the water about 4:30.
Much slower day- I have been fishing the falling tide and yesterday it was short and not as strong. The topwater bite never turned on.

Did catch a blowfish on the chug bug!
Image
Had a 5' Tiger shark swim right up to the boat :o
and then what looked like a Cobe slash at the ChugBug...

I knew I should have put it down earlier but it was hard to stop throwing topwater when I have had such great results the last few trips.

Finally Found the trout a little deeper and caught them on suspending Mirrolures and gulp under cajun thunder.

Also Ran into Captain Vic & Peggy at the marina waiting on a customer.
He looked good and sounded like himself- glad he is doing well!

Leave the Tiger alone, please!

 Very nice fish, bman = the trout didn't care if the shirt-tail was hanging out, eh! Be glad you didn't hook up with the Tiger Shark, okay, because they can get really, really mad when something pesters them! A friend of mine shot a +7-footer with an arrow bow fishing for doormats one evening many years ago...it bit the boat, twice, & tried to pull my friend into the water (Oh No - very ugly :smt013). He got off with cut fingers trying to hold the line and his life + the shark got away - it's still out there, many feet longer now, searching for Stanley, I think, but I got rid of the boat so it would not recognize ME! :lick: :smt009

After looking at some photos I'm sure it was a tiger- he swam right up to the boat- almost like he was going to take a bite
