Left Shield's at 7:30 headed to the K Tower first. faced 3-5 ft seas on the way out and caught air completely at only 19 knots in my 28 ft. walkaround mako. arrived at K Tower to find out that nothing was doing there. Trolled stretch 30s around and around and never had any takers. Next we headed to the west 3-4 miles to a wreck. Saw fish on my bottom machine but couldn't get any grouper going. It was there that i managed to pull up the 21.5" snapper. ended up getting off the number and not being able to find it again. From here we picked up and ran back SE of K Tower onto the honeycomb bottom. started trolling stretch 30s and dusters and picked up the 3 Kings. The biggest weighed close to 25 lbs. It started to lay down in the afternoon as we began to head back in. Stopped at the Bouy 24 barge and marked a lot of fish on the bottom. we still couldn't get any grouper to take our bait. Stopped around some bait schools in about 20 ft. and picked up the 3 spanish. Not a lot of fish but we had some fun with the kings. Nice day spent with my girlfriend, her oldest brother, and his son.
