If anyone out there knows where this is, I've fished there a couple of times. However, much to my dismay I've never caught anything besides sailcats and bonnet heads. Has anyone ever had any luck here? What time of year? There is so much bait, and the place looks just perfect. I've even seen dolphins up in there.... any advice would help its the closest place to fish and wonderful for me and the canoe.

Its one of my favorite spots..trout, reds, I even almost limited on spanish mackerel one day. You are right about the bait..tons!!!
I would wait until the water is a little warmer...aroud March-April when the trout move back out to the flats
Next time you are there grab some fiddlers and fish them around the osterbars.
