Got down to Beacon Hill about 7am and then on the water at IP by 8:00. Lots of people were going offshore with the good forecast. Within 10 minutes we had some great live LY's and head south. Light chop from the light west wind but running was good at around 30kts. On the way out Captain Ray noticed the livewell was not popping off and before long our live bait were dead. :( You know the drill its hard to have a perfect day but we made the best of the situation. So now we had some fresh dead bait. I concentrated on grouper and he worked on the snapper. Landed the first gag within 5 minutes and caught 3 more gags and one red grouper all around 26 inches. RR caught our snapper limit in a couple hours ar so. It was a near perfect day and back home by 9:00 with a nice portion of cleaned fish.
