They were a lot shallower and nearer to shore than in years past.
Now much at all near BI- Might have picked over but i didn't even find one in two spots out there. We got the rest in one other spot nearer shore.
I would guess that it would be good out of the kayak launch near the Stumphole..

Also, it's good to hear the scallops are shallow cause I just set my sit-on-top kayak up for scalloping. I was in St Joe for the 4th but couldn't get out because of the all the grilling & visiting. I'll get my scallops though, maybe in August when they're a little bigger.
